Travel by Water: Many of the well known cruise liners sail to Cyprus. One day and sunset cruises are also available in Cyprus.

Travel by Road: Car hire is available at the main city centres and airports. Road signs are in Greek and English.

Bus networks are good; the service is efficient and quite cheap. There are different summer and winter schedules. Service stops at 5pm during the week and on the weekends 2pm on Saturday with limited services on Sundays. Taxis run 24 hours and are not expensive. There is also the option of a shared taxi service (4 - 7 passengers) between major cities which is cheap and runs every 30 minutes. Pre booking is essential.

Speed Limits: Town - 50 kph; open road - 80 kph; motorway - 100 kph

International Driving Permit: Your driver’s license is accepted.
